About the event

The Lord's Supper was on Tuesday "evening" and Passover on Wednesday "evening". Both were a "Passover" as the command was to eat the meal at "twilight" on the 14th of Nisan. A Jewish day began and ended at "twilight". Jesus was in the grave 3 days and 3 nights and raised the 3rd day. This means that he was raised as Saturday ended and Sunday began at "twilight". The grave was found empty the next morning well into the "1st day of the week". For more on this chronology see "The Passion Week" page.
